It was going fine for me doing shared care with GenderGP, I got blood tests paid for, my GP said she'll write up a prescription for the medication no problem, and then the day before I was supposed to pick up my meds she rings me and says that her colleages have raised concerns about GGP and she's cancelled the prescription. (Maybe someone read that Telegraph article?) Now she's suggesting I go private with an NHS GIC practitioner. It seems like they just want us to pay for NHS treatment, since there's nothing actually stopping her writing that prescription...

I'm not sure if I can make a complaint since they have the right to refuse shared care. I think I'll have to register at a different surgery and try again.
