I'm doing some work for a local race that involves leader jerseys, and while searching for inspiration, I've discovered that holy cow leader's jerseys are boring as hell. I mean, I get it — you can't really wear it outside of the event, you can't sell it as merch, and it's mostly meant to be a billboard wrapped around a skinny & sweaty human for a few minutes of live coverage and that's it. There's no need to make it anything other than a plain yellow/pink/green/red/polka-dots/etc.

Anyways I'm out here researching "native trees of new york" and tracing leaves so I can be authentic af about my work. Hopefully I'll be able to share more next week on this project!
