Germany's 'eternal chancellor' Angela Merkel marks 15 years in office

Its really amazing how Germany turned around after WWII and became the most stable major country in Europe. But they had two outstanding men who served as role models for rebuilding the country better than ever.

I have an incredible amount of respect for US Presidents Truman and Eisenhower, because both of them put aside the past and helped rebuild Germany better than ever.

Both of them were obsessive about honesty and fairness and civilian rights.

Both Truman and Eisenhower wanted Europe to heal, and so they did everything they could to make sure Germany had a stable and trustworthy government.

I have an unlimited amount of respect for men who have that kind of forgiveness and self control. Im surprised there aren't more kids named after them, because they were truly good men.
