Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life - Series Premiere Discussion

I didn't dislike the revival but there were a few things that I just could not understand. First in the original series she looses her virginity to Dean who is married at the time, and she later understand just how wrong it was to be involved with someone that is with someone else, nevertheless she goes around having an "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas " relationship with Logan?! I get she is would enough to make her decisions, but I just though that she would have grow a little bit by now. Let's call it her early middle life crisis. I liked the fact that Dean is happily married with someone,he deserves that. PLEASE PUT PARIS AND DOYLE BACK TOGETHER - loved that couple, and Paris deserves a long happy relationship in her life, that does not involve only nannies. Truly happy that FINALLY Lorelay and Luke get married, it was about time, it's obvious that during the original series Lorelay wants to get married and she deserves it, especially Luke that man is awesome! And I really liked how things in the end turned out for Emily :) Going back to the Rory situation, I understand the whole independent woman theme going on (I'm all for it), but we (meaning me) really needed some more closure, I do not understand what is so great about ending the revival with that news like that. I'm just going to say it, she belongs with Jess, they had great moments when were dating, yes he was young and reckless but lets be honest he had quite a difficult childhood, and Lorelay wasn't particularly nice to him, but nevertheless he was the best boyfriend for Rory, they just understood each other.... The discussions about books, and quick and snappy remarks (he would be great addition to the Lorelay/Rory conversations that so few can keep up), he was the only one that really knew Rory and understood what she needed, he saved Rory a couple of times from herself - that's quite big! It just breaks my heart to see is face looking at her through the window. MAN, WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT? that guy never stopped loving her. I JUST don't like the fact that Gilmore Girls comes back with this great 4 episodes full of life and joy but they just could not give us the closure about Rory life. I'm not saying that she can only find happiness when she finally lands a man, on the contrary, good for her on her career, adventures and affairs, but I truly believe that she deserves better than a fling with a man who is about to get married. JESS deserves some loveeee! PLEASE LIST TO MY PRAYERS AND MAKE SOME MORE EPISODES, AND PLEASE DO NOT PULL A STUNT LIKE LOGAN IS CHRISTOPHER AND JESS IS LUKE! I just hate that feeling at the end of a book or movie, series when you do not have closure !

OK it feels good throwing this out there!
