A girl and her friends checks out the body of her dead sister

What if I can't remember because the ability to remember things is only present in the flesh? What if, once free of the "meat sack" we realize that we were really doing nothing more than looking at the world through a filthy window? A "tree" is nothing more than the brain's interpretation of the interaction of the photons reflected from said tree, with the cones and rods in our eyes. What if the discorporate "soul" isn't limited by cones and rods? We know just how abysmally narrow the portion of the EM spectrum is that our eyes can register. What if "memory" is the same? What if we're really just establishing a small link to whatever it is that comes next. We see it as "storing" the memory in the brain. Perhaps the reality is that we're capable of establishing a small window into a past reality, and that our "memories" are the autonomic maintenance of those individual threads. We can keep adding "memories", until we reach whatever the limit of threads that body is capable of maintaining. Perhaps, once the soul is free from the body, there's no more limitation on the senses... Allowing you to sense things that you were completely unable to in the context of the flesh. What then, my friend, do you think happens when you, this once limitless soul, are spun back out, and shoved into the place where "life" begins... In the tiny form of an infant. Think how many years have to pass before a child really starts dialing in his or her ability to control their own body. Now, let's assume, as a 3 year old, this child starts trying to explain what it semi recalls from the other side of the veil to his or her parents. What do you think you would say if you were the parent? Would you believe it? Or would you say something along the lines of "what a crazy dream!". Now, 6 years go by...do you remember dreams from 6 years ago? Maybe. But... Still... It was only a dream... Right?
