I'm going to be honest with you, I also don't feel like I'm a very likeable person so I don't know a definite answer for that. But in my example, I'm not liked because I'm very distant and cold, I don't have very good social skills and that draws people out of you, that doesn't mean they are bad or anything, it's human nature. If you feel that way about the people in your school then you should try to meet people in other places, but, if you don't work in your personality, in your flaws, then even if it's a new place it's going to be the same story again. I'm just talking based on my experiencie so take this with a grain of salt. Sorry for the long comment, DM me if you want.
