Giving away the bulk of my collection - Details inside!

Hey, this is awesome of you!

I just got back into playing yugioh after a 5 or 6 year hiatus this past January. Beforehand I had only ever played the videogames and never in real life with actual rules.

I was the kid whose parents weren't into tcg but they'd still let me get a pack here and there, and sometimes they'd bring me back some of the fake packs they saw in chinatown because they were so cheap (the thought counts).

During middle school was around the time when the Helios cards were promos with wc6 and a friend had given me his promo pack. I tried to build a deck focused around banishing as many cards as possible to make Helios a crazy huge beater. Things like banisher of the light and macro. I even had solar convergence or whatever it was called.

I was showing off my deck to some other kids one day and one dude took particular interest. He followed me to my homeroom and snatched my jacket with my cards in it and bolted right before I got there. I got my jacket back but the cards were gone later in the day and I was devastated. It wasn't rally a huge collection but it was stuff I'd been collecting slowly since I could never get more than 1 or 2 packs per month or so and losing those promos sucked.

Either way I quit using physical cards and played the games for a short while then quit those too. I watched the anime every so often.

Who would've thought during my study abroad I'd get into yugioh again while in Germany? It turned out there is a locals in the area so I took a while to build a blackwing deck buying singles because I remembered liking crow from the anime.

Here I am a month from leaving germany and I'm really excited to find a local when I get back home and also to hopefully go to my 1st big event.
