You kind of do sound like an ass imo. Every single infant on earth looks like a baked potato, but that won't stop the parents from seeing a perfect little creature. They're biologically programmed to. Doesn't hurt to humour them.

Also, babies literally look like their parents because that's where their genes come from so I'm not sure what that comment is all about?

I get the whole child free thing (considering I never want any kids of my own), but I don't get opinions like this that seem to hate on kids just for existing and parents just for having kids. If we want parents to respect out decision to not have kids, shouldn't we mutually respect or at least humour their decision to have kids (and be excited about having kids) even if we don't get it?
