to a degree, yeah. most of they sitewide bans i've gotten have been for PMs or username pinging, so nowadays i stay away from either.

i did get a 3 day sitewide ban once for saying mormonism is a scourge that should be eradicated.

basically you have to avoid violent rhetoric on main subs (or rhetoric that could be maliciously interpreted that way) and don't fuck with any cross-sub stuff (open brigading, username pinging) or PMs.

i'm wondering if the mods over in r/contrapoints are gonna get smacked by the admins because they're apparently filing a report for all of us who post there or appeal bans directly to the admins, which has to be fucking annoying as hell.
