And I agree the three day rule is a high standard— but at the same time it isn't. He literally said he got the notification and dismissed it and forgot about it. I'm just more conscientious than that and feel that if someone were interested in me as a person they wouldn't forget. As for whether I'm that way with everyone: if my friend drifts off and we don't talk in months I'll be cool with it because at the end of the day I know that we have a stable relationship and care about each other and are loyal, yaknow? I know if I needed them any of my friends would be there.
