I only remember people if they do something specifically noticeable/crazy or I embarrass myself. Today I asked a lady at poundland how much something cost and her expression is etched in my mind forever. Also saw a guy in Italy in a wheelchair, with one leg, wearing a leather corset, fishnets and a sailors hat in the pouring rain, I wanted to get to know him more than anyone else I’ve ever seen in my life, and the guy in Berlin yelling in English about how George Bush wants to control the dopamine supply and something about Parkinson’s and 9/11. As my therapist used to say “it’s usually the most judgement people who feel the most judged” this was before I stopped seeing her cause she had a facial expression I couldn’t stand so I feel like she really nailed that one.
