I had an embarrassing accident today and I don't know what to do

Oh, sweetie, accidents happen. All the time. Some people have more than others but I think most people have had at least once since they "were too old to have accidents."

A few years ago (in my late 20s) I had to go (#1 and #2) after work but wanted to go at home and got stuck in traffic. I managed to barely hold it until I got home but didn't make it past the hallway before pushing a full solid BM into my panties and soaking my grey work slacks.

A few years before that after a very long car trip back from a vacation with my husband and having held it for many hours and being too shy at the time to ask him to stop because I thought I'd just wait until we got home (and because I hate rest area and gas station bathrooms) we finally got back to our house and I hurried inside and made it to the hallway to our bathroom before I just couldn't wait any more and stood there and completely peed my pants for like a minute. I've never had to go that bad.

In high school during lunch one day I was with friends joking around at the table and we were all laughing really hard and I had to pee... yeah... I suddenly realized I was about to lose control but couldn't stop laughing and pee starting flooding into my jeans and splashing onto the floor but I couldn't stop laughing, I just sat there until I had completely emptied my bladder. I think my face was so red it felt like my head was going to explode. I had to wrap a friend's jacket around my waist and cover the front with my backpack but that only covered the top part since it was down my legs, too. I still turn red thinking about it many years later.

Those are just a few of the "big" ones. I don't know how many times I've leaked a little from laughing, sneezing, or holding it too long. You aren't alone. Don't beat yourself up about it. Try to make it funny and laugh about it - you'll feel better!
