Please know that there are many women out there who love treating their boyfriends as much as you love treating them. :) Everytime I pop into a shop I can't help but come back with at least a little something for my boyfriend, even if it's just a hot chocolate I pick up for him on the way home from counselling or his favourite crisps and dip (did this today)! Birthdays and Christmases I love because it's the perfect time to show how much you love them by listening to their complaints. I make a note in my phone when he complains about things such as not having enough socks so I can surprise him with some a few days later. I don't know why I enjoy getting little things so much, but it is one of my favourite things about being in a relationship, and this is the first relationship I've ever had (I'm 22). My boyfriend didn't share the same pleasure in getting me little gifts at first, as the idea just never popped into his head. A year later however, and he too likes to get me the occasional gift. He did tell me once that he doesn't think quite as much about getting small gifts the way I do for him, but I just assumed that was because he was a guy and they perhaps weren't as sentimental. But since reading your comment I know that's not always the case! It's so nice to hear that there are guys out there who like to get their ladies flowers, take them to restaurants and share that feeling of wanting to make your loved one happy. :)
