We’ve both worked out a budget as well as gone over the logistics, and we both would make enough to cover the cost of rent (we don’t want a big place), and live pretty comfortably without living paycheck to paycheck.

Both of us would be covering the bills, so it wouldn’t be like me being the only one keeping us afloat. I have reassurance from my parents that they will help us financially should things become bad. So that makes me more confident.

And this is a good way to see if my partner and I are truly compatible.

I know this is a huge step, and it’s not going to be easy, but despite the nerves, I still want to move. Is that reckless and dumb of me?
