Hi there! Not after an argument but genuinely curious, as where I’m from most people are pro choice so i just have a few questions so i can understand both sides.

The first case-no The second case-yes, but when “without killing her” is established by a doctor. Not if she declared it herself. Doctors have good assessment skills.

I don’t believe in ending a life because the mother was abused. What I believe in is the abuser’s punishment and help for the mother. And child is a difficult term because you can be a 17 year old ‘child’ perfectly capable of carrying a baby. But when she just crossed puberty and her organs are not fully formed yet, it is usually recommend by the doctors to abort the baby. Again, it’s assessed by the doctors and should not be the mother’s opinion. Come to think of it, specially when she doesn’t have the necessary biology education.

And in the second case, it is heartbreaking, but a death is inevitable. So it makes sense to abort the baby instead.
