I do have high hope for it but if the game industry as thought me one thing in the past 5 years it's that more often than not the over hyped game are often bad when they come out.

Watchdog, The Division, Duke Nukem Forever, No Man Sky's and Star Wars Battlefront. All theses games were hyped as hell but none of them ended being really good because most gaming company focus on marketing rather than producing a good product. You can make any game look good when you put only small section of gameplay with amazing graphic played on a 5000$ computer in the trailers and that's what marketing is about. They make the game look good but when you actually play it it's bad.

Ofc there are also hyped game that did really well like Overwatch, Uncharted 4 and The Witcher 3. Those game delivered in my opinion.

Now with FFXV I really hope SE doesn't drop the ball on us. I'm one of the fool that read the leak and I really really hope none of them are true because that would suck and not only because I would know what happen before playing but because the script/story is just bad. The last Final Fantasy I played were XIII and XIII-2 and while I don't think there were bad game the story was not awesome enough for me to want to play Lightning Return. I did pre-order Final Fantasy XV, not because I'm sure it will be a good game but because I want it in my Final Fantasy collection.

I'm pretty hype for FFXV but I'm not expecting it to be awesome since the last SE tittle I played were not that good IMO but I did enjoy the Tomb Raider reboot.
