High ping players

Might come across as a bit condescending, but a lot of players have been conditioned by Quickplay to just one-click connect to randomly picked servers, even though it often sends EU players to US Valve servers and vice versa. And Asian players also often end up on US or EU servers instead of Dubai, Singapore or Sydney ones which are much closer to them with better pings.

Now yes, it is largey the TF2 matchmaking system's fault that these players end up where they do and then proceed to torture themselves and others with pings of upwards of 200 ms, but it's amazing that they themselves don't get fed up with bad ping and actually explore the menu options a little bit. If they actually tried the full server browser or at least clicked the ''Show Servers' option in the QP submenu, they could easily get a list of Valve servers with corresponding pings and current maps, so they ca join ones that are much closer to them.

Like I said, hate to sound like a dick, but just yesterday there was post here on r/tf2 where several people complained about Quickplay sendeing them to Valve servers on another continent. Yet apparently they keep clicking the lazy-ass, one-button ''Play Now'' option and ending up on servers with awful ping, rather than just clicking an extra button to get an expanded QP server list with displayed latencies and maps.

Come on guys, when convenience starts to fail and becomes an inconvenience (= you regularly and randomly get dumped into distant servers), you really should at least try and explore the menu options a little bit. More reliable and informative ways of finding servers are literally 2 or 3 extra clicks away...

But yeah, QP, especially the random ''Play Now'' button is such a lazy, half-assed form of matchmaking that conditions players into not being able to searach for servers themselves and unable to use the tools that they have at their disposal.
