Hiring managers of Reddit, what are some of the worst resumes and interview experiences you've ever had with a job applicant?

We're doubling our team and the vetting process has been pretty good so we haven't had too many outright bad interviews.

That said I interviewed someone yesterday that I am relatively certain was a robot. When asked why they applied (for a csr position) they said that they liked the pay and said that they wanted to work in customer service because they almost majored in communications. We ask her if she's good with computers and she says she has a laptop.

She's not providing remotely good answers, but we always saddle in and stretch out bad interviews a little just to make their drive worthwhile. Throughout the entire interview she maintained a soft voice with no inflection, expression, or tone, and every answer trailed off at the end of the sentence. She ended most sentences with the word "and", followed that with a 45 second pause, and then strong eye contact before we moved on to the next question.

So already we are wondering if we're being punked. Then she touches her collarbone - then starts fiddling with the edge of her shirt - then she puts her hand in her shirt and starts rubbing her chest - then she moves her hand down in her shirt. She's touching her boob while maintaining eye contact and talking to us. Not sexually but I guess nervously?

I'm really fighting not to laugh at this point. We make short work of the rest of the interview. She says she is available to start on monday and then asks "if that's it?" We said yup and she left.

The literal minute that she left the conference room we died. The entire thing was just bizarre.
