[Homemade] indo-chinese noodles and black pepper chicken

I found it on OPs profile

Indo-Chinese Noodles

boil some noodles according to instruction (I used Roland Organic Traditional Udon Noodles. about half the packet - 6oz

veggies - 1 medium green pepper sliced, ~ 2 medium carrots, 2 cups sliced cabbage, half cup chopped french beans (lazies can also use frozen mixed vegetables here - defrosted)

sauce (disclaimer: this is my version... probably not authentic) - 3 tbsp soy sauce + 2 tbsp oyster sauce + 1 tbsp sesame oil + 1 tsp rice vinegar + 1/2 tsp of red chili powder

ok so now in a wok heat up 1tbsp oil (I used vegetable oil). throw in the tougher vegetables first - beans, carrots, corn. add 1tsp of ginger garlic paste. I also add a pinch of salt but you don't have to. stir-fry (saute on high heat) for about 2-3 minutes.

Add the softer vegetables (pepper, cabbage) and about half the prepared sauce. stir fry for another 2-3 minutes.

add the boiled noodles at this point and the rest of the sauce mix. Mix... mix... mix... till everything is somewhat covered in sauce! 3-5 mins and you're done!

Black pepper chicken

I used about 0.8 lb of chicken thighs (4 thigh pieces). Sliced them into strips
add about 1tsp salt, 1tsp black pepper, 1tsp red chili powder, 1tsp white vinegar... mix well store in the fridge for about a half hour.
sauce: 1 tsp rice vinegar, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1tbsp ketchup, 1 tbsp chili sauce, 1 tsp black pepper
thickening agent - mix 2 tsp corn flour with 1/4 cup water.
so... heat 1tbsp of oil in a wok
add the chicken pieces and stir fry for about 4-5 mins
add the sauce and fry for another 2 mins or so
add about half cup of water and the corn flour mix
let it simmer till the chicken is done.

Enjoy!
