Hong Kong protesters having an argument with a girl

how can you expect the protestors to remain civil after months of no response and brutality from the government? also i dont see how they are losing support, the hong kong human rights act was passed rather recently and the pressure on the chinese government has not lessened at all.

and what do the opinions of mainlanders matter on hong kong matters? kong kong clearly displays that they do not want to return to the chinese system and they should be allowed that freedom to stay democratic, and they should be allowed the freedom to protest without being brutalized. for every "protestor" causing unnecesarry violence think about the hundreds of unnamed officers who recklessly fire off tear gas and unnecessarily beat protestors. think about the hundreds of people arrested that go through hell behind bars, should the people of hong kong allow them to get away with this brutalization forever? i dont think they should get violent but i dont think they should be condemned for the few times they do so
