I've got a good story about Mantzoukas I'll try to make quick. I'm in Tahoe a year ago for New Years. Me and some friends are in a dive bar with live music and I feel a tap on my shoulder. It's Mantzoukas and Kroll asking if they can get by to go to the bathroom. I'm like, sure thing, but lemme snap a picture... an idea which they promptly shoot down because 'if we take a picture with you, we will have to take one with everyone.' Fair play, I let it go. Now is the part of the story where I provide some brief background on my friends. I'm there with my best friend, and his sister. His sister is a cool chick, but the problem is that guys flock to her at bars. My buddy hadn't wanted to go out that night, due to hating going out with his sister because of all the guys crushing on her and making him feel awkward. I assured him I'd cockblock any fuckers who make a move, and as a result, here we now were, out at the bars.

The ball drops, it's new years, Mantzoukas, Kroll and their other buddies are sitting at a table in the corner, and we split... heading to another bar across the street. I buy everyone a round and we are having a good time, and then the Mantzoukas crew rolls in. Shit is getting wild and at some point after a few more drinks I notice Mantzoukas talking to my buddies sister. I had told her that he had played the character Rafi in The League and she thought he was Rafi the guitar guy who sung children songs like 20 years ago. She ain't the brightest. Anyways, I grab another round of drinks and walk on over to join them. It's clear that Mantzoukas is trying to get laid, and I recall my promise to my buddy, who is looking on. So I start chatting with the two of them, innocuous banter, just trying to throw wrenches and make things a bit awkward. Then one of their other homies comes over and tries to talk to me, clearly playing buffer for Mantzoukas. I talk to the other guy for a bit, but I can sadly tell that my buddies sister is enjoying chatting with Rafi, so I decide fuck it, I'll abort, but as I abort, I'll try one more hail mary. As I'm walking behind my buddies sister, I make eye contact with mantzoukas... and i pointed to my buddies sister, then him, and then I made the cut it out motion with my hand... Think that JOnah Hill meme at the awards ceremony. Only the cut it out motion looks a lot like a 'im going to slit your throat' motion. I'm also 6' 5" and 215, and I saw his eyes go wide with fear. I realized my mistake but then just decided to let it be. He ultimately ended up pulling my buddies sisters number, and tried to lure her back to their hotel for a couple hours but it never happened. But he did keep mentioning how he didn't want to come pick her up because he was afraid 'your brothers friend might kill me'. And that was the last time I saw jason mantzoukas.
