Despite everything that's been going on in the world, on a personal level this has been an amazing year for me. After four miserable years I was finally able to get out of a job and a part of the country that I furiously hated with every fiber of my being and was able to land a new job that's vastly better than the one I had before. In addition to paying me more to do less I also get to travel the world.

I also turned 35 in 2018 and I only now feel like it's been in this past year that I finally have my life together. Depending on how you look at it, that's either really depressing (it took me until 35 to get to that point) or really optimistic (it's never too late to get your shit together). Take your pick.
