How are we not talking about the great crypto opportunity there is in Canada right now?

Think about it this way, isn't the government supposed to represent you? Isn't the reason you want the government to have power, because you want that power to ensure that people play fair? Hopefully you can see the governments of the world are not playing that role very well at all, in fact, things are getting increasingly unfair.

The government's mandate comes from us, the people. The same is true on chain - the value of the tokens comes from the integrity of the stakeholders and the integrity of the law that is written into the code. Good and fair code, creates a good and fair monetary environment, and more people sign on to it, increasing the value.

Crypto cannot cover everything, but it can replace the need for government to be given our power in many instances, because we can watch ourselves by voting for systems where we accept the law as written into the code.

Does that sound reasonable? Basically, I believe you can still have the society you'd like to see, if we separate money and state. In fact it will be more like the society you would like to see. IMO. There's lots of reading on this if you're interested.
