Actually, its really simple. You can want sex and not be needy at the same time. Just don't want sex from anyone specific that way you don't put anyone on a pedestal because everyone becomes replaceable.

That is simple if your poly. I'm yet to be in a position for sex to even be an option nor have I met anyone in a poly relationship. That's the one thing I've learned in life is everyone is replaceable. Good for you

Also, I don't know if you have an emotional of physical issue when it comes to your lack of enjoyment of sex but you really shouldn't be giving advice that only applies to you because for most guys here, sex is enjoyable. I feel bad for you but that doesn't mean you have to drag others down with you.

I don't know if I like sex I've never had it. it's basically being described as someone else beating you off. Which honestly doesn't sound that great. And at this point it's not seeming like it's worth the work for masturbation. I'm sorry I wasn't trying to drag anyone down or give advice.
