Why are you trying to change jobs 3 months before taking a two year "vacation"?

No employer will say yes to this. This is not a vacation, this is "taking myself out of the workforce for two years." Hell, even if you were a 10-year employee, they wouldn't let you take a "two year vacation" and keep your seat open for you - they'd tell "ok, have a nice time", terminate your employment, and then you'd have to apply and interview to return, same as any other new applicant.

Withdraw your candidacy politely and stick things out for the next 3 months at your current job. Turn in your resignation, take your "vacation", and start applying for jobs when you return.
