I was 23. Was with the same guy for 8 years and it never happened with him. No idea why, my body just didn’t let it. We broke up and I started seeing someone new - 4 weeks into seeing each other we were just chilling in his room and I suggested giving it a go and all was fine, bit uncomfortable but no horror story to tell.

My ex tried to convince me something was wrong with me and that I should speak to someone about it and I started to believe him. He then told me how embarrassing it was that I didn’t have sex with my boyfriend for 8 years - now I think it’s embarrassing for him that I clearly just didn’t want to and it only took a month for me to feel that comfort and connection with my new fella.

Been with my guy for nearly 2 years now, fab sex life, super happy and life is good!
