How did you meet the love of your life?

I don't think anybody will ever see this, but I really like the question. So here it goes.

I was in a string of challenging relationships with some very dysfunctional men. They all seemed normal at first, things would get sour and I would leave. For two years my friend was constantly saying I need to meet this guy friend of hers. After every nasty breakup she said it was ok because I hadn't met him yet. She showed me his instagram and I thought he was one of the most handsome men I had ever seen. I asked her to invite him out when we were together and she did, but he was always busy or she always forgot.

I had stopped asking to meet him, I had just gotten out of another sour relationship and so had my cousin. He had been cheated on and wanted to go out, so I agreed to go with him. When we were walking to the train from the bar a giant hulking man ran up to us from a very far way away (he said he knew the speaker had to be attractive, otherwise they wouldn't be so unapologetically loud and vulgar). He kept pace, and was starring at me. He blurted out "Are you AlwaysPeachy?", I thought he was so handsome I couldn't believe he said my name. I said yes and he immediately introduced himself. He said he had looked at my instagram every week for the past two years waiting to run into me.

We all took the train together and he came back to my cousins house with me. We all ended up swimming in the pool in our underwear and taking shots out of bottles partying all through the night. We talked until the sun came up, but I refused to fool around with him. He was so awkward later in the morning, leaving abruptly and didn't ask for my number. I thought I blew it, it just turns out he is a little shy when sober. He texted our friend telling her to thank me for giving him a train ticket. She gave him my number and said "Ask her yourself, you fucking weirdo."

I love him to bits, and every time we are alone together he asks me "You're going to marry me one day, right?"
