You're kidding me right? Having a disk doesn't make you immune to the legal system.
In order to play pretty much every game ever created, you have to accept the EULA/T&C (source for EA) which enters you into a contract with the publisher which then gives you permission to use the game.
This either happens by simply opening the disk's package (it will have a sticker with a warning), or by installing the game ("Do you accept? I agree").
Once they terminate the contract with you for whatever reason, it then becomes illegal for you to play that game. As i said earlier, this is piracy. A crime is a crime regardless of how easy it may be to commit.

In case it wasn't obvious, "all copies" includes your copy of the game.
