How I feel questing through Val'Sharah

I think I am the only one that didn't mind Knaak's writing. Maybe it's because I read his books back with the Legend of Huma for dragonlance and some of his own works as well. I don't think he is that bad.

The hate for Knaak and the circle jerk for Metzen kills me with the Warcraft community. Is Thrall really any better than Ronin? Mr save the world because for some reason he is the only one that can do it. We had to sit through his wedding for crying out loud. At least we didn't sit through that with Ronin. We even had to make the e announcement that a Thrall is having a child a cinematic for the end of Dragon Soul. He also wields the Dragon Soul without a problem, something that Deathwing couldn't do, Malfurion could barely do, etc. Yet Thrall picked that thing up like it was a random peice of jewelry and flung it around like he was suddenly iron man or something. He even got to take the kill for Garrosh when Garrosh did 10x more to the Alliance, and especially Janna, than he ever did to Thrall.

And is what Metzen does to Tyrande really that much better? " Illidan! I am out of arrows" and her complete and total high school girl personality she has in regards to Malfurion is really no different. At least Tyrande got to kick some ass in the books, something she doesn't seem capable of doing in WoW.

And while Krasus and Ronin may seem a little too self insert like, I think he still did a great job of depicting some other things like some of the Night Elf society and characters. Black Rook Hold, Kurtalos Ravencrest, the Highborne nobles, etc. I also liked how he had used Deathwing in the first book he did with Ronin. The deceitful manipulator was a cool way of using him, and I also enjoyed The dwarves in that book too. Just using Ronin as an example doesn't show the entirety of his writing.
