How the fuck are we gonna get out of this mess?

After a whole lot of deaths and near economic collapse measures will slow infection rates enough for services to recover. Rapid tests will emerge and be pervasive with a vaccine on its heels.

Some idiots will persist in claiming it’s a hoax but after they and their relatives die in real numbers they will also get vaccinated.

It will suck. Total death toll for the first 24 months will be in the millions. A couple of mutations will cause isolated panics but for the most part will fuzz out.

Baseline will reset with a slightly higher chance of dying from annual diseases. Economic downtown with a chance of social reform as it relates to medical care will emerge, but whether corporately owned countries will allow it to happen is an unknown. Remote work will become slightly more pervasive.
