How important is a good username?

See everything around your stream as a brand : the graphics (overlay, panel headers), the social part (the way you talk on twitter, on discord), and basically every part of it.

Now is it important that your necklace is a Cartier? That your chocolate is Kinder? That your car is a Lada (Kappa)?

All the big brands have something in common : it follows the spirit of the brand itself, it illustrate what they do, it complements everything revolving around it.

Kinder: chocolate mainly targeting children, boom : Kinder is children in German (if I'm not mistaken on this one)

Apple: [Jobs] thought the name sounded “fun, spirited and not intimidating"

In short : pick something that people can easily remember, easily pronounce and that either represent your stream and/or your personality.

As an example : RetrOwl was picked because I'm streaming at night & have a really 80's/retrowave theme on my stream.
