How do you keep your clothes organized in your room / closet?

I made a draft of my closet that will show how I organise my clothes/accessories and that will hopefully help someone trying to come up with a new clothing organising system.

Before we begin, I know it's "suitcases" instead of suit cases, I was just to lazy to change it. Also, note that both parts of the closet have the same dimensions and that all dimensions are in meters.

OK, let's start with the left part. You already know what's in the drawers (the 4 compartments at the botton) and at the top part. In the in-between space I keep hanged (from left to right);

light jackets, hoodies, dress shirts, casual shirts, polo shirts and t-shirts.

Each of these categories is then organised either by pattern (for example, striped dress shirts are before solid coloured ones) or by colour (for example, a navy polo is placed before a white one). At the bottom of the space, I keep folded my heavyweight sweaters and cardigans and some more scarves.

Moving on to the right part of the closet. Here I have (again from left to right)

a thing like this one. but smaller, where I keep most accessories, a tie rack where I hang belts and silk ties and then I have shorts, trousers, my trench coat, my one suit and then my heavier coats. Shorts, trousers and coat are organised by colour in the way that a beige pair of chinos for example is placed before a navy one.

Yeah, you can tell I like my things organised.

Also and before any says anything, I also have another drawer where I keep my underwear/swimwear and a shoe cabinet for my shoes/boots.
