I feel that. It’s simultaneously understanding you can’t hold onto the past and holding onto it will only hinder your growth and also only being human. Going from so close to someone you could talk to them all the time to essentially being strangers is a hard thing to process. Then there’s the lingering unanswered questions too. I question sometimes why they didn’t at least say goodbye or if it’s just me that feels this way all these years

On the other side, these feelings are valid, but at the end of the day there is no changing what happen. The best thing I can do is continue to move on and understand not talking to them isn’t the end of the world. I can,will, and have meet other people in my life that I also share a connection with. The energy I use missing them I can use in other areas of my life to be happy
