How have you managed to go through your entire life so far without a physical altercation? What do you put this down to?

When I was younger, 16-25 I used to scrap a LOT.

But I got to a certain age where I realised it just isn’t worth it, you just have to pick your battles.

Coke head who has had 8 pints harassing your partner? Just leave it because the only way that ends will be highly charged.

A bloke screaming at the guy behind the counter calling him a “packi” and generally bullying him, I would challenge that person and have done in the past but I wouldn’t bother actually physically fighting them. Some people are bullies, but once they are challenged they back down very quickly.

You just sort of have to be really really good at judging people and a few times I have got it wrong but I still haven’t been in a physical confrontation since I was younger.

I do genuinely dislike bullies and will stick up for anyone, it’s one of my biggest flaws.
