I'm going to come out and say he hasn't been a good actor in 20 years, or more, but I guess that's debatable. He seems like a trash human to me, but I don't really care about other people's behavioral issues or bad decisions (while working or otherwise).
As a tax payer, I'm mostly pissed about the tax evasion.
As a reasonable human, if his finances are in such disarray, he likely doesn't have a heck of a lot going for him.
He's a has-been in a cheap suit to me. But I think people have a hard time telling the difference between real life and movies. They can't differentiate the train wreck human from their beloved fictional characters.
How scary is that? Hollywood is a menace to reality.
