Yes, and their engine is many years ahead of what google can dream about doing in Android. This is also way Chrome on iOS is so much faster and smoother than Chrome on Android.

But the issue is with Google's part of the deal, and the fact that their part of chrome sucks everywhere, specially on ARM. You can use extensions/content blockers in Safari for iOS (that stay active on web view as well) but not Chrome, because Google is shit nowadays.

I kid you not. I have a 7 year old MacBook Air. It has a Sandy bridge processor. Out of fucking nowhere, on a random update without warning, those cocksuckers and useless monkeys at google disabled all hardware acceleration on Macs with the HD3000 GPU. So, a random 60fps video on youtube will quickly use 100% of the CPU and so on, while Safari will use 5-7% of the CPU on the same video, and be much smoother. Also, anything that is dependent on webGL will now crash/be slow/not work in chrome, while it will be smooth as butter on Safari.

This is factual. Those pigs did this without warning instead of fixing any issues/let it be. Meanwhile not only is Safari so much better in performance on the desktop, it also has built in privacy settings (true do not track, etc.), APIs for content blockers (much faster than traditional adblocking extensions, that can still be used), many user facing features (reader list, reader view, trackpad gestures, site by site preferences, etc.) and so on.

Anyway, you get why I'm pissed with is. In my experience google is trash, but I enjoy my phone and it was the best choice for me. An iPhone with a big screen and similar storage wouldn't be wise, for now.

But my next devices will not have any relation with Google, that's certain. Even my chrome cast 2 ended up being wasted money. Fucking google man.
