How do you nicely tell a coworker they smell like cat pee?

Even with that many cats, for him to literally and strongly smell like pee...

I'm guessing there is a high probability that one of his cats is likely peeing/spraying his clothing (or perhaps peeing on his bedding).

So maybe he would be a bit less embarrassed if you blame the cats, rather than him, and toss it up to "cats being cats", saying something to the effect of:

"Oh oh. Oh oh. I think one of your cats may have peed on your clothes! My friend once had that problem too when one of her cats was peeing on the clothes in her laundry basket. You might have to keep your clothes out of reach of them. But ya, that's cats for you! Cute but also little annoying peeing machines at times!"
