I don't know if I would write a guide, since my way of playing Tusk is kind of controversial. I'm one of those Tusk players that try to preach how good Aghs on him is but nobody ever agrees with. I do have a few tips and tricks though 1. You can cast snowball to save people and wait out stuns. For instance, an arrow on an ally. 2. You can use snowball as an escape if there are creeps or even an enemy hero nearby. 3. Sometimes if you snowball, and people are trying to kill you, they huddle around the snowball and wait it out. Usually if you're farmed enough and theirs a lone support, you can probably kill them before dying. 4. Get a blink, it is seriously really fucking good. I kinda play Tusk sometimes like a puck, in that I go in and out, killing and dealing damage. For the same reason I usually get an armlet so I'm deceptively hard to kill 5. Speaking of armlet, get armlet and learn how to armlet toggle. Armlet at around 8-12 minutes is usually my timing with phase boots and bottle and around that time, you can kill 95% of heroes. Regardless of escape abilities. 6. If you find yourself in a tough early game, gather your team and smoke up. Look for people to kill and try to come back. Yeah this one's kinda obvious but it makes more sense on Tusk's case because snowballing (hah) is really important on Tusk. 7. You can cast ice shards while inside snowball. So if youre chasing someone down with snowball, and you think it's just slightly out of reach, you can cast ice shards while inside snowball so he has to turn back around and get hit by snowball. 8. Orb of Venom is a godlike item 9. I think this one's a bit of a preference thing but I tend to skip Sigil. Most of the time the extra stats help me out. I think this one can be argued against though since Sigil is a really good spell but it is situational. 10. If you're in a game where it's really even, I don't feel that Tusk can really shine in a true carry position which I tend to play him as. In these types of games I tend to just go for the armlet blink as always and then go into Aghanims, Force Staff and bkb. (Maybe even refresher for some WoDota plays) And as this type of Tusk you pretty much just try to kick people into your base during a base defense and shit. Imagine a leshrac, getting stunned in the face with an arrow while diabolic edicting your t3 tower. You blink in behind him, kick, snowball after him while he's in the air and punch him when hes out of stun. Now he's at your t4s and he has a 40% slow and completely out of position. EZ BASE DEFENSE. 11. TALK IN YOUR MIC. LEADING YOUR TEAM TO DIVE AND KILL ROSH AND GANK IS THE NAME OF THE GAME IN DOTA AND ESPECIALLY AS TUSK. 12. In the duolane offlane, I usually am the carry and that's what lets me get these phase, bottle, armlet at around 8-12 minutes. These are just some tricks that I had in my head but I'm sure if I thought more I have a couple more.
