How would you feel about NOT making abortion laws, but instead taking away any reason why women might have an abortion, such as funding free contraception for everyone, funding child care for working/single moms, funding foster homes/adoption agencies, and funding better education for kids?

No one wants a late term abortion. Abortions in the 20-24 week range either happen because of extreme fetal abnormalities that are incompatible with life, maternal risk, or very rarely, women who have been trying to get an abortion since they knew they were pregnant but had to jump through SO MANY hoops it took literal months. Many women don't even know they're pregnant until 8 weeks. We need accessible maternal care.

Past 24 weeks the "abortions" that may be happening are if the child dies in utero or may die at birth and parents opt for an early delivery to hold their child as they die. There are very few true abortions happening past 24 weeks.
