Husband is sick, you know what that means?

My husband is grumpier when he's sick but he still goes about his day and does what he needs to do. If one of us is sick enough to get knocked off our feet, we'll give that person time to rest while the other assumes most childcare/household responsibility. For instance, I got my period this morning and the cramps were horrible... like the type of cramps that feel like you're getting stabbed, going to the bathroom every 20-30 minutes, that type of nightmare period. I stayed in bed until past noon while my husband did everything. But now I feel better, and I did the kid's mid-noon to evening/bedtime routine while my husband enjoyed his hobbies and relaxed. If he were sick, I'd take good care of him but I'd expect him to do the same for me when I'm sick. I'm not superhuman and I do get sick. I enjoy babying my husband if things are fair and reciprocal, otherwise I'd feel like I was just being taken advantage of.
