Hyundai Elantra owner drives 1 million miles in 5 years on original engine.

American roads, particularly those on our Interstate highway system, tend to be longer, straighter, and flatter than roads in Europe, though. Your main concern if you're cruising across Kansas or Nebraska, if anything, is boredom.

It's most of the reason why American cars (for the longest time) were larger and faster than cars from Europe. They also couldn't handle for shit, but for the most part they didn't really need to.

Anyway, I've been driving trucks for a little over a year now. It didn't take me too long get used to long days of driving, though I do take 2, sometimes 3 breaks during my shift if I have a day where I'm just driving, and not doing any drop-and-hooks or live loads.

My company sends me messages like this every day, and this is from one of my longer trips.
