If ignorance of the law is not an excuse, all laws should be written in plain language and easily and freely accessible to all.

Yeah I just read that like....!? Yes laws are specific, but you can "dumb down" specific stuff to a moren "unprofessional" style of writing without losing the meaning. But think that's already too much for said person.

Currently constantly have to think about our (german) law about being forbidden to collect spare change/ cash in coins. Such laws exist here and I wish they'd be written down in some kind of "law for dummies" style of book. But with all laws - and some simple explanations such as different books of law (e.g. human rights, and basic rights and stuff). At least here schools also don't teach everything and I think it should be basic knowledge not only to know the law but also your rights e.g. as a customer.
