Illinois Cop Allegedly Steals $12K From Overdose Victim, Then Tries To Secretly Return It

He has tried to get the alimony reduced but it didn’t work. I don’t know the full story but from what I understand he was making 200-300k as an independent adjuster for the last couple of years so when his wife left him he switched to working for a company instead of contracting. Well her lawyer argued that he purposefully took a lower paying job to avoid paying. - problem is that independents don’t get steady work so it’s not unheard of to not get work for 6-9 months.

Yeah the 900 is a lot. I keep telling him to try to get an IBR and claim he has kids. But he’s worried his wife will turn him in. He racked up like 240k from law school but he can’t pass the bar.
