You sound like you are very new to the game. But, we were all once in your shoes, your best bet is to do research for a couple weeks, that will definitely help for choosing which gear is right for you. Another thing to understand as a photographer, you can never rush things, especially the learning journey. You will have to be patient like the rest of us. You will understand this down the road. A great place to start would be the side bar and wiki. Another place would be YouTube, following some great people like Peter McKinnon, are a great way to wake up your creativity.
