I'm so done

I agree you should consider seeing a dermatologist. I'm 10 years older than you, but still had few too many pimples and clogged pores which I had to self-extract (poorly). Not only does the Dr. do professional extractions (some do, some don't, I would make it a requirement - it's like a free facial), but I was prescribed a type of Retin-A (Tretinoin) - not sure if you've heard of those products - and it has done a really great job clearing my face. I stopped for a while and now 8m in and still have a few clogged pores (very stubborn closed comedones) but only an active pimple once a month or less. He prescribes a large tube that lasts 6m. It makes your cells turn over faster so gunk and pimples don't stick around as long. It's also great for fine lines and some scar marks but it's not a miracle product and takes time and dedication. It's better to go sooner rather than later because I've found it's easier to cause facial scarring from picking as I've gotten older. Because of the cream I don't have to pick my face as often and picking at my clogged pores doesn't cause as many active pimples. Unfortunately, I'm a "hair puller/bump picker" too sooo... I'm still in trenches with you girl until they make Retin-A for body haha
