No you refuse to see my purpose. There are theories in science absolutely. But there are laws of science. You can't dispute E = MC2. No one can ever dispute that equation. It is a law of nature, a fact, indisputable. As is everything Bill Nye mentions in every single episode of this show. The concepts are so basic, so simple, the fact that someone requires further explanation is laughable. Because they should already be ingrained into your mind as common sense. That's why he doesn't go into strenuous detail, because he needed to explain it in the most basic of terms possible. For all the idiots out there.
Lol science has theories, religion is a theory, you just made the most ridiculous comparison. A scientist may theorize that the earth is flat, because a company paid him to. Does that make the Earth being flat a possibility because of one corrupt scientists theory? No. Also, anything that is theoretical in science, is not implemented in our laws or economy. Only topics proven to be known as fact. Anything in theoretical stages will be analyzed in a double blind study, mathematically proven, and then the theory will be determined fact or not. If there is any uncertainty, that area of study will continue to be improved upon by scientists all around the globe until we know with 100% certainty everything there is to know about that subject. The scientific method cannot be disproven or manipulated, only the understanding of what it means. And that's what you have, is a misunderstanding. Me however, being a scientist and doctor, I know exactly what I'm talking about.
