I was just trying to share my story about two people who never thought Tinder could produce results and how it actually ended up working for us. He didn't even have any pictures of him, only of his dog.

I guess I got too caught up in my own story, sorry about that. I thought I was spreading some hope about Tinder. I don't think creating fake profiles is a good idea. If you put your picture on to start with, you won't surpise girls with your appearance. You might find a girl who will still choose to talk to you! If not, I've lost faith in humanity not Tinder. Like I said, I chose a profile with no pictures of the actual guy, just his dog. It was his dog, his honest bio, his song choice, it was everything else besides his appearances that made him who he is that I liked.

I'm sorry you're having no luck with dating on Tinder. I've heard many stories of shallow women turning down men for looks but if the timing is right maybe it's possible you'll find an exception.

Tinder is meant for hookups, and if every girl is on there for that then they are just judging by looks... In that case, yeah it sounds like a waste of time.
