I want to improve my english

Hey man, I felt just like you before. What has worked for me is to just watch YouTube, some videos in English about a topic you like. I find that watching people talk is a good way to get started, and soon you will start using words/phrases like the people you have watched.

I also recommend downloading the google translate extension if you are using Google Chrome, it is such a good way to instantly translate sentences, when you are in the comment section on YouTube or just browsing the web.

And I think using translators is not a bad idea, it really helps you to see the grammar mistakes! Although I know the translation is sometimes weird (I am a native Chinese speaker).

Now about watch TV shows- it's a bit tricky, as you probably know the pronunciation is not always clear and I just find it less engaging without subtitles. But if you want to learn about the culture in English-speaking countries, some TV shows definitely help.

Then I would progress into books, if you like, maybe reading Harry Potter. But if you are truly serious about improving, you have to just buy a grammar book and learn it, there are somethings in English that you just have to remember, like using different prepositions (in, on at etc.).

And maybe, change your phone or computer's language to English for a week, a lot of cheap vocabs!

Good vocab website: https://www.memrise.com/, I would say knowing 3000-4000 words you will be fine with casual conversations...
