Including job on resume? Resignation letter?

Long story short, I moved to NYC a few months ago and started a new job in January, and was completely mislead by the position. I work out of a small office (6 employees), while corporate is located in another state. The office is unprofessional and I've been verbally harassed by my director on several occasions. I've talked to my director and attempted to use the chain of commend to get some of these issues resolved, but nothing has changed. I tried to make it work, but realized that it's not me... it's them, and it's time to leave. I don't have another job lined up yet, but feel confident because of my qualifications that I could find something else if I had time to actually apply.

My questions are: should I remove the job from my resume? What I have done there in the short period of time is great experience, and feel it could help in securing another job. I definitely don't plan on using this job as a reference, and if asked by a new employer why I'm leaving so soon... I can definitely come up with something without saying anything negative about this job. With that being said, how honest should I be in the resignation letter? I don't plan on saying anything rude, but I do feel it's necessary to let them know the real reason's I'm leaving. To be honest, the bridges have already been burned so I don't feel like I'm losing out on anything. I have a feeling they want me out anyway based on what has been said, but I'm not sure I can really stick it out any longer.

My fiancé supports whatever decision I make, which is the most important thing. But I guess I'm looking for someone to either tell me I'm crazy and to suck it up because NYC is tough, or to go ahead and not be miserable and angry about a job that I don't need to stay at. I've never been unemployed and definitely never left a job without another one lined up, but for my own mental health, I'm not sure how much longer I can put up with working in this hostile environment.
