I'm Asian-American, and this is the problem with our culture. Your parents immigrate to US, find a nice Asian community and meet all the other parents and their sons and daughters. Then you're forced to play with these Asian "brothers" since you were young while your mothers complain about your test scores. Then while you bond like "brothers and sisters of the same Asian culture," you start noticing that American boys and girls are...interesting. Suddenly you don't want to be Asian anymore. Suddenly, those nice Asian boys you spent your childhood with seem too nice, too sweet, too much like your brother...

Most of my friends are Asian-American, I would say most of my guy friends are married or dating Asian-American girls. But my girlfriends are 50/50 married/dating Asian-American or outside our race. It really depends. I do know that my girlfriends who either 1) are sporty, 2) SJW's or 3) artsy tend to date white guys. However, my girlfriends who studied engineering or medicine tend to marry/date Asian-American guys.
